Your role
Lead the HR Operations function across multiple locations, countries and lines of business to ensure the successful delivery of an aligned strategy to meet business needs. Take an analytical approach to work strategically and pragmatically to develop operating models and core HR processes for payroll, employee relations and HR systems and data. Work in partnership and close collaboration with the various functional HR areas, HR Director of Business Partnering, Senior Leaders and Directors across the business to operationalise best practice HR within a fast paced, continuous growth environment.You’ll be starting at an exciting time of highly successful global growth for Fleetcor so if you’re experienced in scale up environments we’d like to hear from you!

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:- Provide strategic leadership and management to direct reports to facilitate achievement of business goals and role model positive behaviours and values to the wider team. Effectively interface with all internal and external contacts including senior management/ directors globally.
- Provide sound commercial advice and pragmatic solutions in respect of key business target setting and delivery, including risks and exposures.
- Champion the development and implementation of a culture of best practise risk management and control underpinned by effective risk management methodology.
- Build solid foundations for the HR operations function with the employee experience in mind against a backdrop of ongoing business growth
- Implement a people first culture to turn policies and processes into a compelling experience for FLEETCOR colleagues
- Establish a service delivery model to ensure maximum impact
- Create people priorities for each line of business in close collaboration with the business partnering roles
- Drive excellence by taking care of the day-to-day and the details in all things employment: Your team is responsible for the employee lifecycle all the way from onboarding to offboarding, including preparing necessary documents in accordance with local labor law requirements
- Oversee M&A activities (including but not limited to) integration plans for new acquisitions into Fleetcor for the Workday and payroll systems
- Review and implement the best solution to streamline multiple payroll processes and systems whilst acting as the point of escalation for query resolution
- Proactively implement ways of working to ensure accuracy of data
- Identify trends to develop, implement and manage HR projects and programs
- Support the monitoring of employee engagement, performance, talent development and sickness absence and implement strategies for continuous improvement
- Lead, coach and develop the HR Operations team to achieve measurable success
- Work with line managers to resolve performance issues
- Run the annual performance review process
- Understand and oversee legislation and policy in the regional locations to ensure adherence
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Service-minded and enjoys being in the front line working directly with FLEETCOR colleagues
- Strong HR leadership experience gained within a large multi-functional business
- Ability to work across a matrix environment and happy to work across a global business with multiple time zones
- Foresee issues before they arise and continuously work to ensure conflicts or disengagement does not happen
- Exposure to business mergers and acquisitions and the HR integration planning required
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills at all levels
- Excellent team leadership skills and coaching
- Proactive approach to problem solving and solutions oriented
- Comfortable with high levels of ambiguity in a fast paced environment
- Ability to adapt to frequent change and growth
